Event hire at Marjon

If you're looking to hold an event, whether personal or business-related, we'll have a space that fits your needs. Our campus is accessible and includes disabled parking bays, accessible toilets, and lift facilities. Marjon is located in Plymouth’s well-connected Northern Quarter with good road and public transport links to the City Centre and beyond

Spaces for hire

We provide a range of bookable spaces, from professional meeting rooms and seminar spaces to first-class sport facilities, with capacity from 10 to 150 people.

Facilities

Our spaces are equipped with audio-visual technology and Wi-Fi, toilets are available at frequent locations across the site.

Catering

Chartwells, our catering provider, can supply you with a variety of quality refreshments and meals suitable for all budgets and needs.

Accessibility

Our campus is accessible and includes disabled parking bays, accessible toilets, and lift facilities. Additional support can be provided where requested.

Transport & Parking

You can find us in Plymouth’s expanding Northern Quarter, well-connected by road and public transport. The University is signposted on major routes and has parking for more than 300 vehicles, including electric vehicle charging bays. Parking can be paid for via the JustPark app and is charged Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:30 with a free 90 minutes included at purchase.

Event extras

Depending on the nature of your event, there might be additional costs required:

Security £20 per hour + VAT (depending on the type of event you are booking; security may be needed, and we will discuss this with you throughout the booking process)

As an educational establishment some of our bookable venues have access to smart screens, presentation equipment – let us know what you need, and we will do our best to cater for your event.
