The Daily Mail's University Guide 2024 is new this year after the tabloid joined The Guardian, The Times, and other media outlets in delivering league tables and rankings of UK universities and higher education institutions. The Mail’s Guide incorporated 12 key performance indicators that focus on issues critical to today's students and their families, gathering its information using the Office for Student’s National Student Survey in which Marjon was ranked among the UK’s top institutions. These indicators encompass graduates' career success, the quality of student support services, and fairness in university admissions policies. Plymouth Marjon University proudly ranked no. 2 in the South West for first-generation students, highlighting its commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

Notably, The Guardian University Guide 2024 also recognised Plymouth Marjon, ranking the University as one of the top 5 universities in the UK for Education programmes. These outstanding rankings are part of a growing pattern of national recognition  for Plymouth Marjon University.

In addition to its achievements in the 2024 Daily Mail and Guardian guides, the University was named the no. 1 university in the UK for Assessment in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2023 and secured the no. 2 spot in England for Student Satisfaction and ranked in the top 4 in the UK for Career Prospects in the WhatUni Student Choice Awards 2023.

Furthermore, the University rocketed to the top of last year's Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide, earning the no. 1 position in England for Social inclusion and securing spots in England's top 6 in the Student Experience, Teaching Quality, and Student Support categories.
