We put your success at the heart of everything we do.

  • Small class size – You’ll speak up in class and find your voice here, while plenty of access to all the facilities will quickly get your practical skills on point.
  • Personal teaching – Your lecturers are not just subject experts, they really know how to teach too. They’ll get to know you and how to support you, constantly listening so they can make things better.

  • One big community – You’ll belong to a friendly community, one that feels like a big family. You’ll soon get to know people, that’s the beauty of a small university.

How is Plymouth Marjon University so good at teaching?

We have small class sizes for maximum debate and challenge, because the more you put in, the more you get out.

We're hands on and practical to help you learn, because practical experience builds confidence.

We listen and if it's not working we fix it because we're ambitious, for you and for us.

We support your wellbeing with on-site accommodation, gym, pool, counselling, social spaces and fresh air, because we believe learning should be healthy and happy.

We teach in a way that is inclusive, engaging and fun. We've been doing this since 1840 and we're still breaking the mould.

You're invited. Marjon.
