British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS)
BUCS is the national governing body for university sport in the UK with a vision to enhance student experience through sport. They support the lifestyle & educational benefits to students of taking part in sport. BUCS is one of the cornerstones of university sport and provides fantastic competition for individual and team athletes. BUCS fixtures are typical played on a Wednesday afternoon (team dependent) with individual and some events taking place on weekends.
Marjon BUCS Performance
The 2023/24 sporting season was a historic season for Marjon climbing 10 places in the BUCS overall rankings and achieve a record high all time finish for the university. We punch well above our size as a university and rank inside the top 10 in the UK for BUCS performance compared to student population. This underlines the first-class sporting experience that is provide at Plymouth Marjon University.
As of the 2024/25 BUCS season Marjon has 26 teams competing in BUCS as we look to push on to new heights.
