Asthma is a complex disease of the lung that interacts with other health problems and psychosocial factors. The asthma research group focuses on the experience of the person who has asthma.  Research topics include:

  • the measurement of quality of life in asthma
  • better ways of managing asthma so as to improve quality of life
  • What patients want from their treatment

 

The group are currently seeking people with asthma to complete a brief, 5-minute survey.  The aim of the survey is to improve the measurement of quality of life and to find what kind of new treatments people with asthma would welcome.
