Wheelchair Basketball

Plymouth Marjon University Wheelchair Basketball club offers an inclusive opportunity to engage with physical activity. The club is open to all participants and regularly welcomes beginners. With two training sessions & three courts on campus with all equipment included it’s a great opportunity to get involved.

Previous Success

Our wheelchair basketball team have boasted an impressive record reaching the BUCS national quarter final in the 23/24 season. With multiple scholar and Junior GB team members it’s a great place for high level players to thrive.

Inspire League

Our university team will be competing in the Inspire League for the 24/25 season. This is a great social competition which offers opportunity for players to develop. From playing against local and regional teams it makes competing much easier.

Plymouth Fusion Partnership

Plymouth Marjon University & our wheelchair basketball student club have a fantastic partnership with local national league side Plymouth Fusion. This provides high performing students the opportunity to compete with national level team on campus. It also means all equipment and chairs included and high-level coaching is delivered from Fusion Head Coach, Aaron Blyth-Palk.
