Marjon university Netball club offer a competitive and social opportunity to engage with Netball while studying at university.
One of the largest clubs at Marjon, the netball club have four teams. The 1st team play in BUCS on a Wednesday afternoon in Western Tier 4 and the Western conference cup.
All four teams play in the local Plymouth and District league at the Plymouth Life Centre on weekday evenings. This provides a great level of competitive netball for all standards and experience.
Marjon has 3 full sized netball courts on campus and all teams receive two training sessions per week in term time.
Training times:
Club Netball - Monday 17:30-20:30 (SH3)
1st & 2nd Team - Tuesday 7:00-9:00AM (SH3)
3rd & 4th Team - 7:00 - 9:00AM (SH3)
Membership
One off MSF £50 membership payment
BUCs - £60 - includes facility usage, travel support outside Plymouth, game day kit, referees, affiliation to BUCs & a coached session. BUCs membership does not include affiliation to England Netball as this is not a BUCs requirement.
Non-BUCs/Social - £30 – includes membership to Netball England and training facility access. Other game day costs are arranged by the student led club.
