Our university hockey clubs offer a competitive and social opportunity to play hockey while you study.
Marjon Men’s 1st team will be competing in BUCS Western Tier 4 after we relaunch our men’s program after a break post-covid. We’re incredibly excited to see what the new season has in store.
The club receive two training slots a week – training times:
Monday - 18:00-20:00
Friday - 7:00-8:00AM
Marjon has 1 women’s team in BUCS competing in the Western Tier 3 & Western Conference Cup playing 10 matches minimum a season on a Wednesday.

Plymouth Lions Hockey Club
Plymouth Lions Hockey club are an external club that play and operate out of Marjon campus. All first year Marjon students can join in with club training for free. Plymouth Lions also have five men’s teams and four ladies’ teams which students can join for extra competitive opportunities.
Membership
One-off MSF £50 membership payment
Team fee £70 – includes facility usage, travel support outside Plymouth, game day kit, affiliation to BUCs, referees & a coached session.
