Varsity Week, usually held in March, is students’ chance to play against students from Plymouth University. Games are held on campus and at major sporting grounds in the city.

The Badminton club was set up in 2022 and will be entering a Men's team into BUCS for the first time in 2023/24. Alongside our BUCS team, they have a local league team for both Men and Women players.
Plymouth Marjon University offers one of the best University Basketball programmes & pathways in the UK. From performance pathway into the Plymouth City patriots to social & recreational basketball there’s so much on offer.
Wheelchair Basketball is one of our newest BUCS teams. Our Wheelchair Basketball team competes in Southern Tier 1 in a league where they play against Cardiff Met, East London & Brunel. The league is an open gender competition, meaning it is inclusive to all students at Marjon. You don't have to be a wheelchair user to join and wheelchairs will also be provided for training and matches.
Cheerleading welcomes students with all kinds of experience whether that’s dance, gymnastics or none at all. This is a very good sport for someone looking to try something new.
Marjon Dance Club welcomes members of all abilities. They put on performances throughout the year as well as attending competitions. Equally you can just turn up and have a good time.
Our futsal clubs provide a social & competitive opportunity to play futsal at university.

Our university hockey clubs offer a competitive and social opportunity to play hockey while you study.
When you think of Lacrosse, you think of it being an American High School and College sport. However, Marjon Lacrosse is a big part of the culture here.
Marjon Netball Club is proud to be Marjon's largest women's club, with the number of players joining the club increasing each season. At Marjon Netball, we are a friendly group that aspires to continue seeing players enjoying the game and developing their skills.
Marjon Rugby is overseen by Ben Russell, who joined us as Head Coach for the 2024/25 season. Ben came to Marjon following a distinguished career in elite rugby, both as a professional player and coach.
We have a well-established Women’s Water Polo Team is in the Western Tier 1 League, as well as an up-and-coming Men’s team that hopes to have many friendlies this year leading to BUCS next year.
We are one of the newest Marjon BUCS teams for the 2023/24 season. We offer BUCS competition for our Men's team, whilst our Women's team continue to grow and will go into BUCS soon.
The Marjon Volleyball club includes the men's and women's teams. The men's compete in BUCS and the women's in the Exeter & District league.
