Plymouth Marjon University is located in Derriford, just a few miles north of Plymouth in beautiful South West England. Plymouth is accessed via the A38 Devon Expressway which links to the motorway network at Exeter (M5).
From the M5, join the M4 to London (approx 4 hours drive) and South Wales, or the M6 to the Midlands and the North. Parking is available on campus. Our nearest airport is at Exeter and there is a good coach link between our two cities.
Cross the Tamar Bridge, carry on along the A38 and exit at Manadon (signposted City Centre & Tavistock A386). At Manadon Roundabout take the second exit (signposted Tavistock A386 and Hospital). Continue to the Derriford roundabout and take the third exit following the signs to the University and the hospital. Take the first left turning into Plymbridge Lane, go past the Sport & Health Centre, and finally take the third right turn into the campus.
There are two routes available when coming from Exeter:
1) Take the A38 and exit at Manadon (signposted City Centre & Tavistock A386).
2) Exit the A38 (westbound) at the Forder Valley - Leigham junction and take the third exit on the roundabout, following signs to Derriford (A3822). On approach to the Forder Valley interchange junction, head straight, continuing to follow signs to Derriford (A3822). At the top of Platinum Parkway, you need to be in lane one, following the road to the left with signs to Tavistock (A386). When you reach the William Prance Road/Brest Road roundabout, take the first exit. The end of Brest Road to Derriford Roundabout is a bus lane and you may receive a fine if you use this section of roadway.
When you reach Tavistock Road opposite McDonald's, you will need to be in the right-hand lane to turn right onto Tavistock Road. On approach to the roundabout, bear right following signs to the Hospital. On the roundabout, take the third exit and follow signs to Plymouth Marjon University.
Follow signs for City Centre (A386) to Derriford Hospital. Continue past the Toby pub/restaurant at Roborough then take the new left turning onto Runway Road, signposted to Marjon which takes you alongside the airfield. At the end of the road, turn left and then turn right into the campus.
