Professor Claire Taylor

It is my privilege to be the Vice-Chancellor of Plymouth Marjon University. Marjon's purpose, values and ambition resonate deeply with me and provide a solid platform from which to extend the University's influence as a distinctive place of learning, research and innovation for current and future generations. I am committed to addressing issues of social inequality and to ensuring that access to opportunity is available to all.

My role as Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive means I am responsible for leading the Marjon community and working with students, staff, Governors and partners to shape the future together. This involves the day-to-day leadership of the university and driving the long-term vision and strategy through developing our academic provision, building research and knowledge exchange, harnessing digital innovation, championing sustainability and working with a range of valued partners to meet local, regional and national needs.
