Annie qualified from her undergraduate degree from Keele University in 2002. She worked for 5 years in the NHS doing Band 5 and 6 rotations and in 2005 started an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College qualifying in 2007. She went on to work part time in the NHS in a Community Respiratory Care team, whilst setting up a Private Veterinary and Human Physiotherapy practice. She moved on to work in MSK private outpatients alongside her animal work until 2013 when she moved to Bristol.
In 2015 she took up a post at Langford Small Animal Referral Hospital at the University of Bristol Vet school where she was Rehabilitation Service Lead until 2021 when she moved with her family to Dartmoor for her husband’s job at Derriford Hospital, initially working on a self employed basis as a Veterinary and human physio then joining Marjon as a part time lecturer alongside this work in 2023. Annie has 2 daughters and a German Pointer called Norman, her husband is a Royal Navy Doctor. They enjoy the outdoors, walking, cycling running and swimming and enjoying all Dartmoor has to offer.
