Dr Phil Brown

Role Summary

  • Senior Lecturer in Sport Development and Programme Area Leader.
  • Overall curriculum responsibility for the BA Hons Sport Development programme (including the specialist pathways in Sport Management and Coaching and School Sport). 
  • Responsible to the BA Football Development and Coaching Degree and our partnership with Plymouth Argyle Community Trust and Devon FA. I lead the Foundation Degree in Sport Development and Coaching (known as FdA Sport Studies from 2018-2019).
  • Academic Link Tutor for Sport Development and Coaching provision at Richard Huish College.  


Qualifications

  • Professional Doctorate in Education, University of Plymouth.
  • MSc (Hons) Distinction in Sports Management, Northumbria University.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Special Field: Professional Development), Plymouth Marjon University.
  • BA (Hons) Physical Recreation Programmes and Geography. Exeter University.
