After completing my master’s degree, I worked as a lecturer of physiotherapy at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi and maintained a private practice for three years in India. Upon relocating to the UK at the end of 2006, I spent 12 years working with community and intermediate care teams in Plymouth and Ivybridge. Subsequently, I transitioned to an extended role with the Long-term Conditions Team in Plymouth. Since then, I have continued to work in extended roles and currently work as an advanced clinical practitioner in primary care, in addition to my teaching role at Marjon University.
The physiotherapy profession provides a robust foundation to expand our boundaries into the advanced clinical and academic roles. I believe that this versatility will empower our students to aspire to and achieve professional excellence in various specialised fields.
