Welcome back to the Omani Junior Naval Officers

We are delighted to welcome the Royal Sultanate of Oman Junior Naval Officers, returning to Marjon for a professional development course ahead of officer training at Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC).

The course involves English language training which is delivered by our partners, Open Doors International Language School and naval maritime, PE and leadership training along with several military and cultural visits. The students are also experiencing the UK lifestyle and homelife with the support of their homestay host families.

The course leader, David Ward said: “Thank you to all involved for the excellent support in preparing for the course. Should you see the students around campus, please give them a warm welcome and try to engage in conversation as this will greatly help the development of their language skills”.

The course is due to run until 21 Dec where the students are scheduled to take some leave before joining BRNC in January 2019. Marjon has developed a number of courses to support members of the UK and International Armed Forces.
