The passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

The community of Plymouth Marjon University convey our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family, to the peoples of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth and to all who loved and cared for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 

Our Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rob Warner, said:

“Her Majesty has been on the throne far longer than almost everyone at our university has been alive. In public ceremony and on our coinage, she has been an integral part of our lives. With her winning smile, she won the hearts of countless people. In our sense of loss we experience an historic exceptionalism: she has been to us the mother of the nation.”
