Plymouth Marjon University’s business hub The Edge recently hosted a South West Business Council (SWBC) Breakfast Meeting with the Federation of Small Business (FSB) National Chairman Mike Cherry.
The breakfast meeting hosted key stakeholders of the SWBC and provided an opportunity for South West business influencers to discuss a range of topical business issues. Using the business facilities in The Edge, the SWBC got unique access to Mike and used the opportunity to discuss concerns and opportunities for business heading in to the future.
Dr Emily Beaumont, Director of the School of Business and Criminology at Marjon, was pleased Marjon could host the event.
“We’re thrilled to be able to host Mike on his visit to Plymouth,” said Dr Beaumont.
“We were able to discuss the issues facing micro businesses and small and medium enterprises in our community. Marjon Business School looks forward to working more closely with FSB going forward.”
