We believe that every single person can make a difference to the world. At the Inspiring Student and Student Led Teacher Awards recently, we celebrated individuals who do just that.

The University’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Cara Aitchison said: “Our staff and students are in so many ways excellent versions of what individuals can become through a supportive education and what individuals can then give back to community, society and the economy. Many of their achievements have been made through great personal endeavour, sacrifice, commitment, determination and sheer hard work and it is an enormous pleasure and great privilege to be a witness to such achievements.”
